I first laid my hands on a piano at the age of 5, picked up
my first guitar at age 14, and have been in love ever
since.
Over the past 11 years of my professional career, I've had
the privilege of teaching 300+ students - from curious
beginners just holding a guitar for the first time, to
seasoned players looking to break through a creative
plateau, and strive for excellence.
My teaching philosophy is simple - Music should be about freedom and creative expression, not mindless repetition. As such, I spend a lot of time helping my students build genuine musicality alongside technique - I believe that understanding why a chord progression works, is just as important as being able to play it. Lessons are tailored to your goals, your pace, and most importantly around the music you are actually excited to play.
With over 10 years of experience in teaching and performing, I'm confident that I'll be able to help you pursue your musical goals. I look forward to hearing your voice on the instrument of your choice!
